TAPAS AT CAPRICCIO
Gerry Sarmiento was a corporate guy and thought he always would be - until a restaurant investment about to go bad lured him and his wife into the nuts and bolts of the business. They made a success of Italian food first, and then chose to tackle the Spanish tapas tradition. Capriccio is a terrific addition to the Houston dining (and wining) scene.

COOKING FOR POLO
Mexican-born chef and restaurateur  Leopoldo “Polo” Becerra can be a pretty imposing presence, and for that reason the chef he hired for his Polo Signature restaurant tended to keep his head down and his focus on the stove. NEARING HARVEST
Paul and Merrill Bonarrigo join us not only to taste some of their latest vintages from Messina Hof but also to tell us about this year’s harvest festivities. With an eye on what’s come to be known as :wine tourism,” Paul and Merrill have come to be Texas leaders in putting the fun back into picking and stomping grapes.
